Junior Business Analyst

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis of business processes and workflows;
• Facilitate the gathering and consolidation of business and user requirements from stakeholders;
• Help prepare detailed documentation, including project reports, proposals, requirements documents, and presentations;
• Participate in the design and testing phases of new system implementations and enhancements;
• Support the development of business cases for new projects, enhancements, and investments;
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly;

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI);
• Ability to interpret data and turn it into information that can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions;
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices;
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is beneficial;
• Strong capability in preparing clear and concise documentation, including workflow diagrams and business cases;

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field;

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and insights to stakeholders across various levels of the organization;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex business challenges;
• High attention to detail with an ability to spot discrepancies and inconsistencies in data or reports;
• Team-oriented approach with a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams;
• Ability to adapt quickly to new business processes and technologies;

Desirable Additional Skills:

• Previous experience or internships in a business analysis or related role is highly advantageous;
• Knowledge of SQL or other database technologies;
• Exposure to CRM and ERP systems;
