Industries

Payments and wealth systems that survive an audit, a reconciliation break, and their own growth.

Typical timeline 10–16 weeks to first production release

01 The problem

What actually breaks here

Financial systems fail in specific ways. Ledgers drift when writes are not idempotent. Reconciliation breaks silently and surfaces weeks later as a support ticket. Third-party integrations rate-limit at exactly the wrong moment, and the retry logic nobody tested becomes the incident. Meanwhile PSD2, SCA and audit trails are not features you add later — they constrain the data model from the first migration.

What we build

Double-entry ledgers with idempotent write paths. Reconciliation that reports a break the day it happens rather than at month end. Integrations with payment providers, custodians and market data, built to degrade rather than fall over. Audit trails that an auditor can actually read.

02 Where we stand

Proof, not adjectives

Software you can inspect, and work we can describe.

a European wealth-management platform

Reconciliation that reports breaks the day they happen

Reconciliation ran monthly and compared totals. A break that started on the third of the month surfaced on the first of the next one, by which point the cause was buried under four weeks of writes.

When an existing product beats a build in FinTech

We would rather tell you this now than three months in.

Bespoke software compared with FinTech SaaS

Building it

When FinTech SaaS works

Fit to your process Built around how you actually work, including the parts that are unusual. Fits if your process is close to the industry norm — and many are.
Time to first value Weeks. Nothing works until the first release. Days. This is the real advantage, and it is a big one.
Ongoing cost You own the code and pay to maintain it. Per-seat forever, but somebody else carries the maintenance.
Integrations Whatever you need, including the internal system nobody else has. Whatever the vendor supports. Check before you commit.
When it breaks You decide the priority, because it is your team. You file a ticket and wait with everyone else.
Leaving The code and the data are yours. Export what the vendor lets you export.

04 Common questions

Common questions

Have you built payment systems before?

Our principal engineer spent two years as Tech Lead on a wealth-management platform for financial advisors — portfolio management, forecasting and lending — and four years before that on a CRM for an Australian fintech, including payment processing and financial data flows. That is employment history, not Flexipy delivery, and we are careful about the difference.

Can you work under our compliance regime?

Yes. Our principal engineer contributed to ISO 27001 certification on two separate platforms, on the application-architecture and data-handling side.

Who will actually write the code?

A senior engineer, with the principal engineer on architecture and discovery for every project. There is no account manager between you and the person who designed your system.
