Manual QA Engineer (part-time)

Overview

We’re looking for a QA Engineer with 1–3 years of commercial experience to join our team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of web applications, testing new features, identifying bugs, and helping improve release processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to deliver reliable, user-friendly software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute manual test cases for web applications and APIs;
  • Identify, document, and track defects clearly and efficiently;
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure smooth releases;
  • Participate in sprint planning and provide quality feedback early in the process;
  • Perform regression, smoke, and integration testing;
Technical & Professional Skills
  • 1–3 years of experience in manual software testing;
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred);
  • Experience testing web applications and RESTful APIs;
  • Familiarity with Python, Postman, Pytest, or similar tools is a plus;
  • Knowledge of bug-tracking systems (Jira, ClickUp, or similar);
  • Understanding of test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans).
  • AI-assisted tools (Cursor AI, Claude, etc.) for testing or documentation are highly valued;
  • English level B2+ required for communication and documentation;

Terms of Cooperation
  • Location: Ukraine (remote).
  • Schedule: Flexible, starting between 8:00–11:00, 8-hour workday.
  • Paid trial period: 1–2 months.
  • Compensation: It depends on experience and skills. We are young and open to discussing adequate ranges only;
  • Vacation: 20 days per year.
  • Sick leave: 5 days (extra with approval).
  • Meetings: Daily syncs, weekly planning sessions.
